Rider's Most Common Queries

It is so important for us to resolve your maximum queries and to ensure your preparation to be perfect to join your Motorcycle Adventure Tour in India.

We follow the Formula “Minimum Luggage”. Below 15 Kg (33 lbs). You should make one Rucksack bag for your clothes, footwear and personal belongings as well as one Day-pack to carry your Camera, Mobile phone, goggles, chargers or any other handy gadgets. Though we provide essential Ride Accessories like Helmet, Knee & Elbow Guards within the package but suggest you to carry your personal Helmet, Riding Jacket, Riding gloves and Riding Boots so that you may have your best fit safety gears for you. A Backup Vehicle follows the Riders from the beginning to end of the Riding Tour to carry extra luggage, motorcycle spares, tools with us. We highly recommend you to not bring any suitcase or trolley bag to carry your luggage, because that is not convenient to carry in our backup vehicle.

Yes, you have to carry a valid driving license to drive a Motorcycle with gears. It is not required to have an International Driving License but any License which is legal in your country and says that you are eligible to ride a motorcycle with gears will work for us. We don’t categorize motorcycle driving licenses in India on the basis of CC, here we have categorization on the basis of motorcycles with gears or without.

There is no problem with that ! If you/your partner does not know riding and still wants to be part of our Motorcycle expedition then you/your partner can be seated in your pillion seat. Or if you want to ride solo then your partner may travel in our backup vehicle with other team members.

We operate Motorcycle tours that may be categorized on the basis of Riding experience and Physical fitness required. There is a simple formula - “More Fit Rider….More Happy Rides..”. We recommend you to do some running, stretching, meditation and yoga exercises for 30 days before starting the Motorcycle expedition. Most important is to make your lower back and thighs muscles strong to pleasantly ride the motorcycle for day long.

It is quite true that experience works but more of that our strong will works ! Though our Motorcycle Tour in Himalayas are demanding in terms of both motorcycle riding experience as well as your physical fitness level but if you have a strong will to ride in Himalayas and have a good hands on experience of riding different motorcycles in challenging conditions than there is no prior experience to ride in mountains is required.

Yes it may vary in India than other countries. We follow the Left side driving in India and overtake from the right side. We have mentioned the speed limit too as per the road we are driving. Well there is nothing to worry about ! Our Motorcycle guide will brief you about everything just before the ride will be started and you will get enough time to practice riding to understand the traffic rules and the driving style here.

Our Motorcycles are covered with “Third party insurance” and that covers third party loss and a rider’s accidental insurance at a certain level. We highly recommend you to carry insurance with you as it is for your safety and will cover risk on a higher level.
